Brunswick County, Virginia — Traffic Defense Attorney Case Result
Conviction for speeding 64 MPH in a 55 MPH zone was appealed to the Circuit Court and REDUCED to Defective Equipment, which is a non-moving violation that carries no (0) demerit points on a driving record. Driver had a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and was concerned about a conviction for a moving violation jeopardizing his employment. By reducing the charge to a non-moving violation, the Driver’s record was protected and so was the driver’s employment status.
