77/55 reckless driving misdemeanor charge for speeding 22-mph over the limit was REDUCED to a traffic infraction for speeding 10-14 mph over the limit.  Unlike reckless driving, which is a misdemeanor charge that carries 6 demerit points toward a driving record for 11 years, speeding 10-14 mph over the limit is a traffic infraction that only carries 4 demerit points for 5 years.
