Henrico County, Virginia – Reckless Driving Lawyer Case Result

CASE DISMISSED! A driver charged with Reckless Driving for speeding 86-mph in a 55-mph zone walked away from court without a conviction.  Due to not having a clean driving record, and allegedly speeding 31 mph over the limit, the driver was at risk of jail time or a license suspension if convicted of this charge by a judge.  However, the driver completed a driving school program prior to the hearing, and in court his attorney showed the judge the driver had a +5 point balance on his driving record (which is very good).  So instead of convicting the driver of the charge, the judge dismissed the case and the driver walked away from court without a fine, jail time, or license suspension!
