New Kent County, Virginia – General District Court Reckless Driving Defense Attorney Case Result

Client was facing jail time and a license suspension for allegedly speeding 97-mph in a 70-mph zone.  In court, the driver’s reckless driving misdemeanor charge was REDUCED to a traffic infraction for improper driving.  Driver had speedometer calibration test results showing his equipment was defective and completed a driving school program & community service work before court.  The prosecutor agreed to amend his charge to improper driving.  So, the driver drove back to his home state in Maryland after court without any jail time or a license suspension, and without a conviction for a reckless driving misdemeanor charge!
