76/55 reckless driving misdemeanor charge for speeding 21-mph over the limit was REDUCED to improper driving (even though the driver did not have a clean driving record). Unlike reckless driving, which is a criminal misdemeanor offense that carries (-) 6 points on a driving record for 11 years, improper driving is a traffic infraction and only carries (-) 3 points on a driving record for 3 years.
