Henrico County, Virginia – General District Court Defense Attorney Case Results

60/35 reckless driving misdemeanor charge for allegedly speeding 25-mph over the limit was DISMISSED.  Failure to have vehicle inspected charge was also DISMISSED as compliant with the law. 

Prince Edward County, Virginia – Traffic Attorney Speeding Ticket Case Result

Driver received a speeding ticket for speeding 76 mph in a 60-mph zone and the charge was REDUCED to defective equipment, which is a non-moving violation that carries no (0) points on the driver’s record.

New Kent County, Virginia – General District Court Defense Attorney Case Results

Class 1 misdemeanor charge (for driving while license, permit, or privilege to drive suspended or revoked) was REDUCED to a class 2 misdemeanor (for driving without a license). Reckless driving misdemeanor charge (for improper brakes) was REDUCED to improper driving. 87/70 reckless driving misdemeanor charge was REDUCED to improper driving. Traffic infraction (for failure to obey highway marking) was REDUCED to a nonmoving violation.

Sussex County, Virginia – General District Court Traffic Attorney Case Results

Driver pleaded not guilty to a traffic infraction for operating a vehicle with a radar detector/jam device, and the Court found the driver NOT GUILTY.  Driver was also charged with a reckless driving misdemeanor for speeding 32-mph over the limit (87/55) but was only sentenced to a fine (so neither jail time nor a license suspension were imposed).

Reckless driving case for speeding 97-mph in a 70-mph zone.  Case outcome: client walked away from court with no active jail time and avoided a license suspension.

CASE DISMISSED! A driver charged with Reckless Driving for speeding 89-mph in a 55-mph zone walked away from court without a conviction.  Due to allegedly speeding 34 mph over the limit, the driver was at risk of jail time and a license suspension if convicted of this charge. Instead of convicting the driver of the charge, the judge dismissed the case and the driver walked away from court without a fine, jail time, or license suspension!

Chesterfield County, Virginia – General District Court Defense Attorney Case Results

CASES DISMISSED! Driver was charged with misdemeanor driving after forfeiture of license due to driving outside of the parameters of a restricted driver's license (which was ordered by the court after the driver's license was suspended due to a DUI conviction).  The driver missed the first court date for the driving after forfeiture of license charge and the court charged the driver with a second misdemeanor for failing to appear.  At trial, the driver's defense attorney was able to convince the court to DISMISS both charges.
