Sussex County, Virginia–Reckless Driving Lawyer Case Result

86/70 reckless driving misdemeanor charge was REDUCED to defective equipment, which is a non-moving violation that carries no (0) points towards a driving record. 

Henrico County, Virginia – General District Court Reckless Driving Defense Attorney Case Result

Reckless driving (generally) misdemeanor charge was DISMISSED.  Client was concerned about a misdemeanor conviction due to future career path in computer science.

Driver pleaded not guilty to a traffic infraction for operating a vehicle with a radar detector/jam device, and the Court found the driver NOT GUILTY.  Driver was also charged with a reckless driving misdemeanor for speeding 32-mph over the limit (87/55) but was only sentenced to a fine (so neither jail time nor a license suspension were imposed).
